About me

Experience I graduated from Canterbury Christchurch University and the University of Greenwich with a BSc (Hons) First Class in Speech and Language Therapy.  Since then I have worked across NHS community clinics, mainstream schools, specialising in pre-school, Early Years and Key Stage 1.  Today, I bring that same enthusiasm, experience and training to every family I support.

Why choose an independent practitioner?  I purposefully hold a small, dedicated caseload. This allows me to provide your family with the time, focus, and child centred care that truly makes a difference. I am a registered member of the HCPC, RCSLT, and ASLTIP, ensuring your child receives the highest standard of regulated, evidence-based care.

Training and experience Since qualifying I have continued to develop my clinical skills in accordance with the requirements set out by the RCSLT and HCPC. 

I use a Total Communication Approach, recognising and honouring all forms of communication including, words, signs and symbols.  Each child is unique and a bespoke therapy programme will be designed to support your child’s in becoming a capable and successful communicator. It’s a family thing …

My path to becoming a Speech and Language Therapist was an unusual one. With years of experience supporting children and young people in schools while having my own family, I watched my eldest daughter Mollie qualify as a Speech and Language Therapist. Seeing the impact she was having on children’s lives, she encouraged me to follow in her footsteps. She told me the role combined everything I loved – helping children, understanding communication, and working with families. She was right! It doesn’t stop there though, my youngest daughter Anna is just graduating as a Speech and Language Therapist, so there will be three of us in the family!
